Short Description
The September 11th Fund is created as a special fund in the State treasury. Subject to appropriation by the General Assembly, the Director of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency shall pay all moneys in the September 11th Fund as grants to aid victims of terrorism and as grants to local governments to cover the costs of training, equipment, and other items related to public safety initiatives intended to prevent further acts of terrorism or to respond to further acts of terrorism or other disasters or emergency situations in Illinois.

Any performance without a fully executed grant agreement is ineligible for reimbursement. IEMA will publish its agreements in the CSFA Tracking System after you have returned a signed copy of this NOSA to IEMA. Please note the items identified for Fiscal and Administrative Section. Please contact your IEMA program representative within 30 days to implement a plan to address the identified special conditions within the next 90 days. Should you have any questions please speak with the IEMA program contact for your award.
