Applicant Eligibility
Funding opportunity for regional administrative agencies, which are public or nonprofit agencies in the Department on Aging's designated planning and services areas to provide regional oversight of the Department's Adult Protective Services (APS) Program by designating APS provider agencies within the planning and service area with prior approval of the Department on Aging, monitoring the use of services, providing technical assistance to the provider agencies and being involved in program development activities.

Funds may be used for the following: Designating APS provider agencies with with the planning and service area according to APS Policies, Provide technical assistance to APS provider agencies and as needed seek policy clarifications and interpretations of standards and procedures from Illinois Department on Aging staff, conduct quarterly meetings with APS provider agencies, monitoring the performance of APS provider agencies, Authorizing APS provider agency Early Intervention Service expenditures in accordance with APS Policies, Assisting the department and APS provider agencies in raising awareness and providing education on the issues of abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, and self neglect, and retaining all books, records, and other documents relevant to the operation of the program in accordance with APS policies and all other pending matters closed, unless transfer is authorized in writing by the Department.

Audits
Grantee shall be subject to the audit requirements contained in the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996 (31 USC 7501-7507) and Subpart F of 2 CFR Part 200, and the audit rules and policies set forth by the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget. See 30 ILCS 708/65(c); 44 Ill. Admin. Code 7000.90.
Records
Grantee shall maintain for three (3) years from the date of submission of the final expenditure report, adequate books, all financial records and, supporting documents, statistical records, and all other records pertinent to this Award, adequate to comply with 2 CFR 200.333
