The OUR Youth After-School Enrichment Program will expand services and increase the number of youths being served at several elementary and high schools located in under-resourced Cook County areas (60651, 60644 and 60612). Services will include after school tutoring, mentoring (Big Brother & Big Sister Program), social and daily life skills development, computer/assistive technology, basketball, uniform assistance, back to school supplies, events, outings, haircuts, food, holiday dinners for families, etc. In addition, various sports, recreational activities, technology, and other community activities, may be offered. Participating schools are located in under-resourced Cook County areas where students are identified as at-risk based on available community, educational, social and healthy lifestyle resources and socio-economic status. Schools are anticipated to include: Collins Academy High School, Penn Elementary School, Catalyst School, Dvorak Technology Academy, North Lawndale High School, Michele Clark High School and John Hay Elementary School, etc.
