Short Description
The purpose of the Postsecondary Perkins Title I Leadership grants are to expand upon equity and innovation at Illinois community colleges. The selected focus areas align with initiatives outlined in the Illinois State Plan for Perkins V, as well as national initiatives in CTE. These can include enhancing student transitions by supporting the development of dual credit, aligning and contextualizing coursework, and developing career pathways and programs of study; student-centered support services by implementing high-touch advising and career guidance and assisting special populations students; and strengthening the CTE educator pipeline.
