PROGRAM INFORMATION
Short Description
YSGN provides a gym, library, outdoor garden space, art therapy, music therapy and play therapy rooms. Most programs will be conducted on-site on a weekly basis, 12 months a year. All programs will be provided free of charge to everyone who participates and free bus transportation will be provided for neighborhood groups. Parental involvement will be vital to the success implementation of all three after school programs.

Objective
The grant supports the Youth Services of Glenview after-school program to work with families, schools, other organizations and independent providers to increase support to the youth attendees with homework and improve academic performance through the Study Buddies program. This grant will also serve the Pride Youth Program serving LGBTQ+ children and youth ages 4-24 and their families through a variety of year-round social, support, and leadership opportunities. Additionally, during the summer, this grant will support Youth Leaders that are invited to plan Action Camp which is a 5-day camp for LGBTQ+ youth from across the state
