Short Description
The Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA), under the Medicaid Persons Who are Elderly Waiver (Community Care Program), will be issuing Workforce Retention grant payments per Care Coordination Unit (CCU) contract. These payments are made possible by the 10% increase in Federal Medical Assistance Percentage (FMAP) provided to Illinois from Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in response to COVID-19 and national Public Health Emergency (PHE). This grant will be a one time payment in which all grant funds must be expended by the close of the grant period (06/30/2022). Each CCU contract may request up to $175,000. Administrative costs may not exceed 20% of allocation.

The Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) will be issuing one-time Workforce Retention grants to Care Coordination Units (CCUs) in response to COVID-19 staff shortages.
