Short Description
The Lincoln Land Work Alliance (LLWA) will oversee sub-recipient youth training providers (Capital Area Career Center, Capital Area School of Practical Nursing, and Fishes and Loaves) to carry-out the goals of this project. Sub-recipients will identify eligible students through their intake and financial aid processes. They will then refer the students to Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance along with an initial intake form. The LLWA will collect and track participant's contact information, eligibility criteria, nursing program of study information, and communicate to the providers if the students are in fact eligible. LLWA will develop a tracking system where participant and training data will be gathered from the providers regarding the participant's enrollment and progress. Participants who are in need will complete a patient care technician per-requisite course prior to the basic nurse assistant course. After training programs are completed, LLWA will gather information related to program completion, certificates earned and job placement information as available by the close of this grant.
