The Peoria Friendship House with their STEAMS Academy assistance program, students are on-site learning by trained staff and mentors. Homework assistance is provided to 150 students. The STEAMS program is an expansion of the STEM concept which helps school-aged youth to increase their proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering and math.
