Objective
The intent of the grant is enhancing the technology resources and infrastructure that aid in adult basic education or English language instruction. With this funding, presently funded adult education programs can better adults 16 years of age and older that need basic skills, including English language learners, in order to develop academic and professional abilities that will assist them to enter post-secondary education or work-based training.

Current ICCB-funded Title II Adult Education and Literacy programs are invited to submit proposals under this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
Beneficiary Eligibility
Persons 16 years of age and older, including English language learners, seeking basic skills to develop academic and professional abilities that will assist them in entering post-secondary education or work-based training.

Merit review of applications which may include factors for geographical dispersion, program balance and diversity.

Thirty to forty-five days.

Appeals pursuant to IL Admin Code.
