Short Description
Through the Mildred Wiley Wellness Hub Project (MWWHP), Bethel New Life produces, supports, and highlights community-led events and opportunities that encourage the health and wellness of individuals, families, and neighborhoods through all stages of life. By taking a holistic approach to health, individuals in the Austin and wider Westside community are effectively served to achieve their best quality of life. Within a holistic approach, Bethel New Life’s Mildred Wiley Wellness Hub and its partners provide comprehensive care that addresses 10 dimensions of wellness. In the Austin and wider West Side community, the goal is to foster collaboration among existing organizations and initiatives to achieve more efficient and effective use of resources provided to the community. MWWHP will promote holistic health of individuals and families in the community through opportunities to participate in basketball, dance, nutrition education, and gardening.
