The first-of-its-kind in the United States, the Mobile Museum of Tolerance (MMOT) is a free-traveling human rights education center, which brings a message of tolerance directly to schools and communities across the state of Illinois. The MMOT inspires people of all ages and backgrounds to use their voices to speak up against bullying, racism, anti-Semitism, hate and intolerance, and to promote human dignity. Led by an Illinois licensed educator, the MMOT workshops include: "Anne Frank Story," "Power of Ordinary People," "Civil Rights," and "Combat Hate: Digital Media Literacy Workshops." These programs' objectives are to move students from civil dialogue to action and to have them recognize their own personal responsibility in making a positive difference in the world.
