PROGRAM INFORMATION
Short Description
The purpose of the FY2027 Rev Up EV Community College Initiative is twofold: 1.
to support the implementation, evaluation, and expansion of EV competencies developed in prior
rounds of the Rev Up EV community college initiative and 2. To expand wraparound student
support services for students participating in RevUp EV programming.

Objective
The grant’s primary objective is focused on the implementation, evaluation, and expansion of the
EV competency-based education (CBE) framework. Programs span the EV Technology
occupational continuum from development and production to maintenance and body work for
Electric Vehicles, as well as installation and maintenance of critical infrastructure. A second objective focuses on colleges designing or implementing programs with a student-centered
approach as they create or implement curriculum. A strong student support model includes
effective strategies for recruitment, retention, and comprehensive services that help students
succeed.

Applicants are limited to Illinois public community colleges. Each applicant must submit a budget, application, and other required information.

Students may receive support for their education; communities benefit from a greater pool of skilled workers.

Application Procedures
Application must be completed and submitted via Euna, the statewide grant management system. All applications will be reviewed by ICCB staff for completeness and accuracy.

Application review per the NOFO.
Award Procedures
Awards will be determined based on complete applications meeting program objectives. Awards will be payable upon execution of the grant agreement.
Deadlines
Each grant application package must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m.
on September 25, 2026 via the GMS, Euna Grants.
Range of Approval or Disapproval Time
As applicable, estimated at 20 to 45 days.

Appeals pursuant to IL Admin Code.

Funds must be used as stipulated in the NOFO and applicable state/federal regulations.
