Short Description
To provide reading accommodation support, teacher classroom resources, and educator training workshops for teachers serving students with print disabilities, including learning disabilities, dyslexia, blindness, vision impairment, or physical handicap. Learning Ally school campus licenses allow unlimited number of qualifying students school/home access to more than 80,000 human-voice recorded audio-books and e-Books and provide assistive technology and classroom support within the PreK-12 curriculum.

Objective
Provide up to 750 Learning Ally school campus licenses to public Illinois schools upon request. License shall include at a minimum, the following services: Access to over 80,000 audio-books with unlimited downloads to link playback software, iOS and Android apps, and Chromebook players; curriculum support materials; Teacher Ally program management tool access and training; and online technical assistance and support for participating schools, teachers, and students. Provide an Illinois specific program website, featuring program communications, support, and outreach. Expand resources available to participating schools through updated and new materials.

Reports
Expenditure reports to be submitted on quarterly basis via IWAS. Programmatic reports are submitted on semiannual basis via IWAS. Final programmatic report due 30 days after completion of grant period
Audits
The audit requirements adopted by GATA include the adoption of the federal audit requirements (2 CFR 200.501), audit requirements for grantees and subrecipients that do not meet the federal audit requirements and audit requirements for “For Profit” subrecipients. For-profit Subrecipient. The PTE(s) is responsible for ensuring subrecipient compliance with established requirements. Methods to ensure compliance for State and federal awards to for profit subrecipients may include pre-award audits, monitoring during the agreement period of performance, and post-award audits.
