Short Description
Program Grant - Program Grants are available for Illinois non-profit organizations that provide arts programming of high artistic merit in arts-education, dance, ethnic and folk arts, literature, media, multi-disciplinary, music, theater and visual arts. Grants are available for general operating support & - Partners in Excellence- Recognizing that Illinois is the home of creative arts institutions of regional and national significance; the Illinois Arts Council has implemented the Partners in Excellence Program (PIE). The PIE Program provides general operating support to designated organizations of scale and significance in all regions of the state. Program Grants and Partners in Excellence grants recognize arts programming of high quality that is appropriate to and reflective of the communities served and that broaden opportunities for the public to participate in the arts.

Preapplication Coordination
"The application is received and assigned an application number that will be used in future communication regarding that application. Applications which have been ruled ineligible or incomplete will not be reviewed. Applications are reviewed based on the evaluation criteria. The final recommendations are presented to the Board for their consideration and approval. A record of the review process is maintained for all reviewed applications, applicants are encouraged to call for review feedback after receiving decision notification. "

Reports
Grant recipients are required to complete and submit a final report no later 30 days after the end date of the grant period. This report will focus on the activities outlined in the original application. Grantees are required to provide financial, statistical, and narrative information.  In addition grantees will be required to submit examples of published materials verifying activities and compliance with the IACA funding acknowledgement requirement. Grant amounts of $25,000 or greater are required to submit quarterly reports within thirty days after the end of each quarter, which describe the progress of the program, project or use and the expenditure of the grant funds .
