The grant term begins on the date of the Department’s execution of the Grant Agreement, unless a different beginning date is provided in the Grant Agreement. In order for costs to be eligible for reimbursement, no construction or any other pre-construction work, regardless of the type, for which the grantee could seek reimbursement, shall be initiated prior to the grant term.

The Grantee is required to file quarterly status reports on the grant project describing the progress of the program, project, or use and expenditure of the grant funds related thereto, if the grant amount is over $25,000.00 (30 ILCS 705/4(b)(2)).
