PROGRAM INFORMATION
Short Description
Adult Education and Workforce Development programs will be offered such as enrolling LEP Immigrant/Refugee clients in ESL classes, ABE classes, and/or career coaching; while providing interpretation/translation by CMAA staff when needed. Other Programs will be offered for LEP Immigrant/Refugee senior clients such as the Community Care Program & Golden Age club which offers enrichment and cultural activities and community engagement.

Objective
To ensure self-sufficiency, sustainability, access to services and stability to Immigrant/Refugee LEP populations in the Chicagoland area particularly in Uptown, Edgewater, West Rogers Park and West Ridge community areas and Elgin, as well as 60120 area in Kane County, and 60640 area in Cook County.
UGA Program Terms
Adult Education and Workforce Development programs will be offered to immigrants, refugees and LEP clients. Also offered will be programs to aging immigrant population.

Non-for-profit service provider with experience and desire to work with and administer adult education and workforce development program to predominantly immigrant LEP community members. As well as services to the aging/senior population.

Reports
Successful applicant will be required to submit: a) Monthly expenditure reports in the format prescribed by IDHS. b) Monthly program/service provision reports in the format developed jointly with IDHS. c) End of contract fiscal and program reports as required by IDHS.
Audits
Grantee will be subjected to monitoring/audit scheduled and delivered by the contract compliance unit.
Records
The grantee is required to maintain program and fiscal records in accordance with GATA rules.
