Short Description
This program will ensure that domestic violence victims will receive counseling, case management, and advocacy services. In addition, English classes will be provided to Refugee/Immigrant LEP clients which include in group-session classes and individual tutoring.

Objective
To ensure self-sufficiency, sustainability, access to services and stability to Immigrant/Refugee LEP populations in the Chicagoland area particularly in Edgewater, Rogers Park, Uptown and Cook county. The following zip codes will be covered:60660, 60626, 60645, 60659, and 60640.
UGA Program Terms
An adult self-sufficiency focused program designed for immigrants/refugees and LEPs in mind. The program will assist DV victims/survivors in finding services and provide English language classes in group settings to LEPs in needy communities.

Non-for-profit service provider with experience and desire to work with and administer education and employment training to predominantly immigrant LEP community members.

Reports
Successful applicant will be required to submit: a) Monthly expenditure reports in the format prescribed by IDHS. b) Monthly program/service provision reports in the format developed jointly with IDHS. c) End of contract fiscal and program reports as required by IDHS.
Audits
Grantee will be subjected to monitoring/audit scheduled and delivered by the contract compliance unit.
Records
The grantee is required to maintain program and fiscal records in accordance with GATA rules.
