Short Description
This funding will be used to strengthen organizational capacity and to help support and enhance the agency’s programming and administrative capacity. In addition, this funding will also allow organization to serve more Limited English Proficient (LEP) and underserved populations from the north side neighborhoods of Chicago. It will expand staff capacity and enable the agency to serve more people in the following programs Multicultural Resources Program (MRP), Intensive Case Advocacy for At-Risk Seniors (ICAS), Small Accessibility Repair for Seniors (SARFS), Rental Housing Technical Assistance for Community (TACOM), and Fair Housing Enforcement Program.

Objective
To ensure self-sufficiency, sustainability, access to services and stability to Immigrant/Refugee LEP populations in the Chicagoland area particularly in Rogers Park, Edgewater, West Ridge, Uptown, Albany Park, North Park and surrounding suburbs, such as Lincolnwood, Evanston, Niles, and Skokie.

Reports
Successful applicant will be required to submit: a) Monthly expenditure reports in the format prescribed by IDHS. b) Monthly program/service provision reports in the format developed jointly with IDHS. c) End of contract fiscal and program reports as required by IDHS.
Audits
Grantee will be subjected to monitoring/audit scheduled and delivered by the contract compliance unit.
Records
The grantee is required to maintain program and fiscal records in accordance with GATA rules.
