Short Description
This funding will be used to provide The Jaguar LEAP Summer Immersion Program is a 6-week residential program that provides students (first-time, full-time, first-year) with the academic skills and social resources for a successful start in their university education while building a sense of belonging to the Jaguar community. The program provides students the ability to earn 7 academic credits with enhanced co-curricular support and extra-curricular activities. The First-Generation Center supports the retention, persistence, and completion rates of Governors State University’s first-generation students.

Successful applicant will be required to submit: a) Monthly expenditure reports in the format prescribed by IDHS. b) Monthly program/service provision reports in the format developed jointly with IDHS. c) End of contract fiscal and program reports as required by IDHS.

Grantee will be subjected to monitoring/audit scheduled and delivered by the contract compliance unit.
