Short Description
This founding will be used to empower Spanish-speaking adults with the necessary tools to promote human dignity, increase employment potential, and facilitate participation in the larger community. PODER provides Integrated English classes, workforce development training, career placement, and coaching at no cost to student members. Through direct services and community partnerships, PODER’s career pathway takes immigrants and first- and second-generation Latinos from a marginalized position to a place of financial strength, building individual and community wealth in areas that have historically and intentionally been excluded.

Reports
Successful applicant will be required to submit: a) Monthly expenditure reports in the format prescribed by IDHS. b) Monthly program/service provision reports in the format developed jointly with IDHS. c) End of contract fiscal and program reports as required by IDHS
Audits
Grantee will be subjected to monitoring/audit scheduled and delivered by the contract compliance unit.

The grantee is required to maintain program and fiscal records in accordance with GATA rules
