Short Description
This funding will be used to provide case management, referrals and crisis intervention services to African, Carribean and other Black immigrants and refugees. It will also be used to facilitate workshops and outreach activities.

To ensure ease of accessing state and federal social programs and case management with the goal of obtaining self-sufficiency and stability.
UGA Program Terms
Funding will be used to aid in the delivery of direct services and support to limited-resource immigrant and refugee families, as well as recent arrivals from the border.

Applicant Eligibility
Community-based agency with experience resettling new arrivals with dignity so they have a place to put their head and begin to rebuild their lives. Participants are connected to the public benefits, language access, education, housing and other programs needed.

Reports
Successful applicant will be required to submit: a) Monthly expenditure reports in the format prescribed by IDHS. b) Monthly program/service provision reports in the format developed jointly with IDHS. c) End of contract fiscal and program reports as required by IDHS
Audits
Grantee will be subjected to monitoring/audit scheduled and delivered by the contract compliance unit.

The grantee is required to maintain program and fiscal records in accordance with GATA rules.
