Equity Champions will provide targeted consultation, implementation support, and coaching to facilitate the effective execution of identified strategies. Institutions will work with Equity Champions through four phases: Phase 1: Data Analysis and Institutional Alignment Institutional teams shall review and analyze disaggregated student success data related to the institution's existing equity goals and priorities. Activities during this phase are intended to strengthen institutional capacity to interpret student outcome data, identify equity gaps, and recognize systemic patterns that may contribute to disparities in student success. Phase 2: Institutional Barrier Analysis Institutional teams shall examine institutional policies, practices, procedures, and organizational structures that may contribute to observed disparities in student outcomes. Consistent with the Equity Scorecard framework, this phase emphasizes identifying and addressing institutional barriers, and identifying root causes of issues, rather than attributing outcome gaps to student characteristics or deficits. Phase 3: Strategy Implementation Institutional teams shall refine, implement, and assess evidence-informed strategies aligned with the institution's established equity goals. Phase 4: Institutional Learning and Knowledge Transfer Institutional teams shall document implementation activities, lessons learned, promising practices, and outcomes related to TTA participation.. Institutions shall identify opportunities to scale, sustain, or institutionalize successful strategies across the campus to advance long-term equity and student success objectives. Institutions will share progress updates with IBHE staff at quarterly progress meetings.
