PROGRAM INFORMATION
Short Description
IMSA Fusion is an after-school enrichment program in 110 Illinois schools with 165 programs for students in late elementary (grades 4-5) and middle school (grades 6-7-8) that are talented, interested and motivated in mathematics and science, with a special focus on students historically underrepresented and under-served in mathematics and science. Fusion also serves as a professional development program for participating Illinois STEM teachers.

Objective
To maintain and increase student interest and performance in the areas of math and science as this significantly decreases between 4th and 8th grades; and
